LEIGHANNE BRYANT

At just 18 years old, Leighanne Bryant, a senior at Hillgrove High School, embodies the spirit of service and resilience. Juggling varsity football and basketball cheerleading, leadership roles, and academic achievements, she’s a force to be reckoned with. Yet, it’s her dedication to supporting children of Gold Star and military families that truly sets her apart. Inspired by her own experiences and the need she observed within her community, Leighanne founded Gold Star Kids Support Services, a nonprofit aimed at funding after-school activities for these children.

She’s raised approximately $17,000, funding activities ranging from golf to dance lessons. Notably, she clinched $10,000 at a “Shark Tank”-style competition, showcasing her entrepreneurial skills and commitment. Leighanne’s dedication to supporting military families remains unwavering.
